About Malachi
Malachi Williams, B.S. in Exercise Science and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy, is a compassionate and experienced wellness professional dedicated to supporting adults with developmental disabilities. With a background that spans clinical rehabilitation, behavioral health, and community programming, Malachi blends his knowledge of physical fitness, mental wellness, and occupational engagement to create inclusive, empowering spaces for growth.
He has served as a Lead Vocational Instructor at Beacons Inc., Activity Therapist at Haven Behavioral Healthcare, and Occupational Therapy Intern in both school-based and hand therapy settings. Malachi’s work focuses on helping individuals build confidence, improve functional abilities, and foster social connections through adaptive movement and mindfulness.
Certified in BLS, AED, and CPI, Malachi brings a holistic and safety-conscious approach to every session, promoting wellness of the body and mind while creating a community where every participant feels seen, capable, and valued.
Malachi brings his passion for connection into his personal life as well. When he steps away from the program, you can find him walking his dog, spending quality time with his wife and two kids, and relaxing with a good show on Netflix.

Wellness in motion is a 90-minute community-based session designed to support adults and young adults with developmental disabilities through movement, mindfulness, and meaningful conversation. Each session combines adaptive physical activities with guided discussions that focus on wellness, relationships, and everyday life skills. Participants are encouraged and respectfully supported to share information about themselves with their peers in a safe and inclusive environment, fostering confidence, social connection, and emotional growth. Through gentle challenges and open dialogue, the program aims to help individuals build resilience, self-awareness, and a stronger sense of community.

Many individuals with developmental disabilities face ongoing stigma, social isolation, and barriers to self-expression. These experiences can lead to anxiety, insecurity, and a sense of silence that limits emotional growth. This program addresses those challenges by promoting both physical wellness and mental well-being, offering a place where participants feel seen, heard, and empowered. By blending exercise with open conversation, Wellness in Motion helps participants build resilience, self-acceptance, and meaningful relationships that extend beyond the session. Wellness in motion welcomes minds of all kinds.
